What We Do

For decades, Wide Floors has been at the forefront of the reclaimed and specialty wood industry, transforming historic materials into premium products for modern applications. The company’s work has spanned continents, delivering high-quality engineered flooring, paneling, stair parts, and rough stock to architects, designers, and homeowners worldwide.

One of Wide Floors most significant undertakings was the reclamation of more than 12 million board feet of heart pine from the Sears & Roebuck Complex. This project, recognized as the largest collection of heart pine timbers ever salvaged, solidified Wide Floors reputation as an industry leader in large-scale historic material recovery. Beyond salvaging materials, Wide Floors played a critical role in transporting, processing, and repurposing these historic timbers, ensuring they would continue to serve as high-quality wood products for generations to come.

Today, Wide Floors continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the reclaimed wood market. The company is actively engaged in major projects across Europe, South America, Australia, and beyond, sourcing unique and historically significant wood species for use in high-end architectural applications. As demand for sustainable, character-rich materials grows, Wide Floors remains committed to setting new standards in quality, sustainability, and design.
